This trick seems to work while in the middle of a song, instead of while doing solo parts. It involves palming the tremolo arm while plucking the strings. As you do this run your scales, and give the arm a slight SWOON downward and upward into each note. With practice, you can replicate the slippery tone of not having frets. It isn't a perfect fake, but it's not too far off.

I seem to do it by accident Wink After I posted Fallen Angel a few different bassists told me I had a nice fretless tone, and it was a fretted Schecter. I'll try the whammy trick to see how it works for me. Most know I own a fretless so they assume it is one when they hear the muahhh rabbit
