you said before why no band videos...well that wish has been granted. Although we only play simple stuff due to so many member changes this year, we now have a full crew and are "on the road" once again!!!

we've had so many member changes in 6 months we are now finally getting back into it. Even at this show our normal drummer is not there as he had already planned a vacation before we hired him in June.
this is also the 2nd show ever for Dillon, a very quiet smart kid who don't drink or smoke is very quick to learn stuff and daddy already bought him a Jackson , and because all of us are 2x his age, very respectful of who and what adults are all about...We like him, and our promise was to get him on a stage, and 2 weeks in a row it has come true with another HardRock show for him July 29th.
the bastard is 6'3 and like 300lbs at his age. ( he just turned 18 a few months ago as we asked his father who is a large supporter, and he loves to jam so don't ever think you youngsters can't get hooked up with older folks even though you never been there before )
He likes it I think as he is now the poor righty who feels like the minority and finally NOT ME since we got Glen, the other lefty.
that other video was the opener, here's the closer an hour and a few beers later which really shows Dillon off at the end:

Just watched both those videos, you guys are seriously tight together, ain't talking bout love was perfect.
on the subject of being rebuffed for being too young, yes i fall under that trap a little. Most decent bands you'll find around here have an 18+ only tag. Which is annoying for me, all bands i've worked with who are under that age bracket i tend to outclass. it sounds a bit egotistical but it's the truth. You know you have a bit of a situation when the bassist is a better lead player than the lead guitarist. On Either instrument.... maybe i should just apply and tryout for the over 18 ones anyway, who know they might like my playing.

well Tek, it just goes to show you that age is ageless....50 or 15 talent is talent.
thanks for the kudos on the vids, except for me not really syncing with the singer, who is VERY difficult to harmonize with, it came out good enough for us
in your case if you are better than an older guy and he hates you for it...let that be a lesson to you for your future, it won't be the first time that people are jealous, and you may not be accepted into a band if you are better than the guitarplayers....
I played with another kid for almost 5 years before he turned 21 and we never had an issue getting him into the bars to play as long as someone was going to take responsibility for him. It worked for me back then, and with this new kid, it will work now
