| why I let the guys talk me into playing this I'll never know Yes Martin, I did take the B+M 2b, but used this one to make the kid with the lefty Squier jealous ( sounds like something a guitard would do huh? ) at least there was 20 people there Friday night, and we each got paid 35 bucks, and like I said in Erics "gear" thread, the lefty bassplayer from the other band bought me a sandwich and a soda for letting him use my amp.... | |

| $35 a sandwidge and a soda ... kripes! thats a haul in comparison to what i get at gig. if i get any compensation at all, it never covers the cost of the aggrivation that i endure from the one guy who really loves our band, and feels the need to tell me about it, repedidly, with his whiskey, beer and cigarette breath all in my face.
furreal ... most gigs, i'm just happy to play. | |

| "Hey, c'mon, I'll buy you a pizza." How old was that drummer? 12? I agree with you MadMike. Most of the time, I'm just happy to be playing out. But the perks are nice, too. | |

| the money+food was a good "perk"..next Friday we are playing another party same thing (food+drink) but this one has a full stage,PA,light trees, so the cameras will have better pictures...not this dark unfinshed walls gig with missing plaster it is with another band who's singer was OUR OLD singer..too small of a city Pittsburgh is for not knowing someone somewhere in the music biz and no, the drummer is 21 ( we checked before was asked him to join ) my boy is 24, the singer is 45, I'm 49, and the other guitarplayer is 50 quite an age gap in everything BUT MUSIC !!!!!! | |
