I have a dozen Charvel/Jacksons, a Kramer, and a few "others", but anything pointy is a winner in my book.

And I have owned other basses,including 8 Washburn Status basses,a Washburn XS 4,A G & L Asat,Yamaha Attitude LTD and others,but BCR mainly call me.

BOTH of my Mockingbirds were given to me by different people

I meant I love anything without a FenderHead on them

but BCR sure has the coolest take on "pointy" ..

everyone knows what a Jackson looks like..BUT only 5-6 of these remain in the world, so here's a rare 95Jackson TBX for ya...

and here's one pic of the whole 80's Charvel "model" series model 1,2,3 and 4.
I just have a lot of spares in various colors

and for the REAL extreme Jackson lovers, a matched pair of model 2's
( THE SIAMESE TWINS )

again, welcome to the gang and hope to see you posting a lot more now that you found us.

I actually do have a model 2 Charvel with a Kahler on it, although Eric the MOD could care less if you have a trem or not, I was welcomed into this place with open arms, and have been an active participant for a long time now.

And what is wrong with Fender headstocks?

ya they made a "firebird" guitar as well ... It's got a kahler hardtail, 13.5lbs of NTpoplar wings and maple center, and EMG 35j/35p singlecoils in square housings.
Certainly not a typical Gibson Tbird.

and your pic of the Fender'ish headstock is attractive...WHY? cause it DONT SAY FENDER ON IT...lol

I do have a few non- pointy Fenderheads around.....

Cool,Matsumoku used to make BCR's imports in the early days

That strat head is from my friend's Bich,it was made for Miko Weaver of Prince fame,I got this confirmed from Miko as well

Yeah...it's shiny! It was a nice day. I figured it could catch some rays. The photos are a little washed out, I'll admit.







I don't know why the letters "EMG" are so faint on the pickup housings, but I think it looks pretty sharp.

No, it's just that Lorne's beautiful collection makes me feel so small.

yep, DS show all 'dem 'dog-gone hillbilly headstock Fenders
they are all still very unique and beautiful basses.

I'm always the first one to admit that Jacksons selection of standard production basses had it's few years of fame and could never compete in the bass market.

I absolutely Loved the kelly (guitar) I tried, but the body was just too small you know? I'm hardly a small guy and it's body shape wasn't really size appropriate standing up or sitting down. I thought the same thing about the rhoads, just too small.

I'm a uhhhhhhhh *big* dude, no way to even attempt to say otherwise, but most of my fave basses(or guitars) are small bodied, funnily enough, including a home made bass that has the body of a Kelly guitar.

hi Lorne, the widow bass had a cool body shape, btw could you post the full picture of your widow bass with the chrome pieces you made?

i had a chance to try a widow at JAPEX (Jakarta Audio Pro Expo) and had a GAS attack! i'm about saving my money for this bc rich baby..
