| The last few weeks have been a stressful whirlwind to say the very least. I won't go into the details as to why, but believe me when I say that I have been on sensory overload lately. So finally, I got the funding to upgrade my entire rig. Within the next week, everything will be here, and put together. Marshall 8x10 cabinet Marshall 1960 4x12 cabinet Two Sansamp bass preamps DOD G7 effects processor for my distortion (the Sansamps and G7 will go into my current QSC power amp, unless I decide to upgrade) Crybaby bass wah Boss bass chorus Boss tuner EH Micro POG Andy and I are also getting together later this week to begin mapping out my new custom four and fiver basses that he is going to build for me. I've already gotten new Kahlers and DiMarzio pickups for both of them. It's a weird place to be, being able to do all of this. But I am grateful for it. Photos and videos to follow once it all gets put together. | |

| that whole list sounds sweet!
I wanna try that eh pog. The muff pi was disapointing but I wanna try the pog and the microsynth.
Next, youll want to upgrade your power amps. You still running acoustic?
an all tube guitar rig is first, but I hope to have a new bass rig next year.
Nice score! Congrats eric. | |

| Thanks, Bro! Acoustic? No, I never have run Acoustic gear, except for when I have borrowed some. My power amp is a QSC, and I am going to see how it works with everything before I decide whether or not to replace it. Like I said, it's a weird place to be right now. Having the chance to upgrade and change everything is a bit disorienting. But I am glad to be able to do so. | |

| I bought a Micro Pog & it crapped out after a month. I was very disappointed. I like the DIGITECH whammy pedal much better. | |

| QSC = 35lbs Crown XLS = 10lbs but all the other stuff, well that's a lot of gear all at once | |

| Funny you should mention the weight difference between the QSC and the Crown, Mike. I am also very seriously considering replacing the QSC with a lighter amp. Think I might like the Crown? How many rack spaces is it, and how many watts? | |

| If I were to get a new rig I would go light as possible. Me back can't take heavy lifting like it use to. At least large equipment with wheels would be nice. I was in a band once where the keyboardist had a Fender Rhodes, that thing weighed a ton. | |

| BD, I did it because the new band is playing 2-3 times a month, if it was just me in the studio or once every 3 months, I would have kept the heavy stuff in the rig and not worried about it at all.
For Eric to buy a XLS and then sell his QSC he could almost make his money back.
