A little background. We are still Alien Probe when it comes to covers, but with the addition of our new singer, we have embarked on learning covers to get us into the clubs. We have decided to call the cover project Hammered, and this is us practicing last weekend at Andy's studio. The videos are only about half a minute, since this is all our singer Travis has shared with us so far. The audio isn't perfect, the singing is off, well, it's practice. And there's a wall that normally blocks me from view, so I'm not too visible. But for what they're worth, here we are!

send Eric 1500.00. I'm sure he could make arrangements to play in your favorite bar or your house for a private show.

Now that all depends. Since we live only eight miles from the Canadian border, and less than an hour from Vancouver, doing a gig in Canada isn't all that far-fetched. But if Sly is in Quebec, that's another matter. So where in Canada are you Sly?
Of course, the $1500 would be nice!

Who is to say what will happen in any project, and I think all of Us here are realistic enough to realize that it takes a lot of luck for a band to get to the point of being able to travel across the country. I do know that some of Us here do have that ability, but I don't expect that my cover project will ever get to that stage. Now the original thing is another story, and it's our best shot at being able to do so. In any case, if I ever do find that I'll be playing in anyone's area, I will be sure to let ya'll know.

You guessed right Eric - Quebec Rock City (as Paul Stanley would say)...
I wish you and your band the best of luck in getting a break and touring close enough that I could get out, see the show and have the pleasure of meeting you...
If I'm ever close by I'll be sure to send a shout out...

1500$?? That's a good deal for getting a band to travel 3000 miles!! I'll thrown in a 24 of Molson Canadian! ;-)

3000 miles = 4828Km and they would be flying obviously
but that's ok cause you would shack them up for the weekend in your 6 bedroom house with the pool, provide food and drink for 5, and the roundtrip plane trip would be about 3grand for 5 people the 1500 is "spending money" because 5 people Seattle to Montreal even if I'm wrong on the airports is like 3-4000 roundtrip for 5 adults thru travelocity depending on the airline and dates and class you choose ")")
( and then they collect the door @ 20.00 a ticket in a place that hols at least 500 )
500x20=10000/2=5000/5=1000 each
I'd do it

i said 10grand/2 because there would be another band there, if not then maybe a couple thousand back to the venue for necessities ( PA/lights, venue fee, rental car )

haha no way, if i COULD miraculously pull off booking you a gig that was paying out that much for a west coast old man metal wanna be band that all the members had their glory days 20 years ago I'd be there already to gather up my booking fees and switch jobs and be rich. and drinking whatever champagne the hotel was offering.
either that or I'd have to be a jedi master to pull something like that off.
