| I am really not sure of what suit better together but I'll say nothing more than...
What suits better with :Black body, White pickguard and maple fingerboard.

| If we are talking hardware, you can *almost* never go wrong with chrome. Gold would look a little strange with those colors to me. Black would be my second choice after chrome, but I'd say chrome is your best bet. | |

| if it was solid black body/maple, i would put gold on it, cause I'd love to have gold on both my black/maples but with a white pickguard...hmmm...I dunno. | |

| Personally, I've never cared much for the color of gold hardware on guitars/basses, although I have seen examples of instruments that were well-suited for gold hardware. But, my first choice would be chrome, and the second would be black. | |
