I actually forgot to post a couple pics of a Christmas gig we did ...
yes Martin, I used the 4b, and if your wondering WTF am I doing in the first pic, I'm standing on my cabinet cause I had a few drinks and I'm short and I wanted a bird's eye view
actually being able to "feel" the notes was kinda cool and a nice foot massage --lololol

What kind of kit is your drummer using? The toms look wild.

CB, he took all the chrome stuff off the drums and had it powdercoated and painted red ... Tama set....
and Noob, I never thought of that, but yes.."christmas-y"
hmm, we have no NYE gig this year, but if we did I would have to bring a black one and a white one...black to let the old year go, and white to bring in the new year... Since I'm not gigging and have a 4 day weekend, I'll post something on youtube. The band boys want me to play CowboysFromHell from Pantera as a video ( damn peer pressure ). And Noob can you post a video of you just TALKING? the few words you speak in your videos is not enough to hear that GREAT English accent
BTW, Noob, did you see my dedication to your video of one of my own? Yous was very "tabbed" to the original, mine was taken from some live thing from youtube

Your version of Ain't no mountain looks like a lot of fun.
But I'll never do a video of me talking in English, You will hear me just if we meet at a GTG or meet at all!
Anyway, I've got no camera for the moment and I just broke the G string on my Viola. And 2 weeks ago I broke the G string on my Ministar. So I ain't got no more G string.... Ackward to say... Also, the nearest music store is 1 hour 15 away from me and I've got no car. So I''ll just play with 3 strings for 1 or 2 weeks....
Happy new year everyone!

Wow that's so cool that you have a viola. I've always wanted a cello. Cello cello cello cello.
That sucks, dude. Your situation reminds me of one of my friends in Germany...he broke the top string on his Washburn and all he had was an awful East German bass guitar from the 70s (he was born in Thueringen before the wall fell). It was a Musima, kinda like this, but with more knobs. http://cheesyguitars.com/musima_v2.html
It sounded dreadful and played even worse. The neck was like a bouzouki neck and the body was made out of plywood. The pickguard might have been plywood as well. It had some flatwounds on it that had been on the bass since it was made. For over a year, he just played on the low three strings on his Washburn. His reasoning was why buy four strings when I only need one?

I mislead you, I meant my Epiphone Viola Bass and not a Viola. But I do play double bass!
That musima is cool! I love shortscale and chrome pickup cover!
Hahaha woops. It would be rad to own a viola...
And if by cool you mean the absolute worst stringed instrument that was ever made and marketed, then you're right! They kinda look like Hagstroms or something, but even the biggest POS Hagstrom was waaay better than any electric instrument that Musima ever made. It would have not been fun to grow up in the DDR, that being the only kind of bass guitar you could get.
