| Nice score, Boots! I came within inches of pulling the trigger on a Douglas before I found my Davison. Let us know how it works for you, Bro! | |

| Well I'm playing with a pick and avoiding slides of all sorts because these strings are really rough, like fender strings but worse. Other than that I'm loving this bass, but of course I may still be in honeymoon stage.
These strings are turning the fingers of my fretting hand black

| Yeah, I remember that the stock strings that Rondo uses aren't all that great. A new set of good strings might bring out the qualities of the bass. | |

| I like the body and the pups.
The hardware is scaring me.
Those strings have probably been oxidizing on there for over a year. | |

| I've got my old red Doctor Song strap on it right now and if that's not a funky look I don't know what is | |

| I picked up a nice new set of D'Addarios (32-130) today and adjusted action and intonation and it really brings out a great sound in this bass. After playing this with new strings I might start buying rondo stuff exclusively as for the Doctor Song strap I mentioned, here it is. By far the most comfortable strap I own, probably because it's almost 30 years old at this point and is worn in pretty good. | |
