| Awesome!
I am currently on the long road to get back to the stage; trying to write new and re write 40ws songs. We still have yet (and it seems always do) to find a vocalist, altho the music has always standed on its own without.
We're hoping by august ... but it wouldn't suprise me to be october.
The davidson looks cool!

| Thanks, Bro! No, the bass came stock with two single coils. My guitarist Andy did the work for me to wire it in stereo. I run two separate lines out, one that stays clean all the time, and the other with full-time distortion. The bridge pickup is a custom eight-string humbucker that Andy built, and this output feeds my distortion channel. The neck pickup is an EMG DC40, and this feeds my clean signal. It's the old Billy Sheehan trick of being able to run distortion on a bass without sacrificing the bottom-end. It really fattens up the sound of the whole band, and it eliminates the need for a rhythm guitar.

| some day ( some day ) I am going to mod one of my basses like that Just not 2 jacks as a stereo jack will work on one of my passive basses that don't use a stereo jack in the first place. | |

| you could also split the signal after a pre into two separate channels and into two separate rigs like i do sometimes (havent needed to lug two rigs around for a while).
bass >> boss gt10B >> channel 1 out with effects to carvin head with 2x10 and 1x15 >> channel 2 out to peavey head with 2X15 (for the boom).

| actually the way I have it I CAN input to my rack mixer the straight signal from my wireless since it has an XLR on it, but that is straight from the bass..no effects and blending it in does make a difference, but I rarely use the distortion so I don't do it because the wireless is before the compressor and it is very dynamic which I hate.
if I can stay out of trouble and have a day to mess around I will do it on my passive Jackson Futura since I'm not putting a preamp in it.

| Oh, oh, oh ... im sorry. I meant something like an external pre, effects or di or some such dookickey. Not an onboard ... altho ....
Now you got my brain in mad scientist mode.
There is also the two 1/4" jacks and the dpdt switching a la mother or attitude ltd. I should be selling it, but I been messing around with the knockoff ltd ... I really like it.

| ... and the more I think about it, the more I think that eric is gonna end up owning that bass. He is the only cat I know besides me and billy who runs two rigs. | |

| Fureal, except for mike, pxr basses hasn't made a sale. I think the economy is that bad and nobodys buying anything unless they have to.
So im sitting on 6 basses. 3 are for sale and I been playing one of them (the custom with the kahler of course)
Gonna go back to school and eventually ill go back to work. Ide rather my creations be played than sitting in my basement collecting dust.
We'll see what happens and work something out.
