you know all the years I tuned my 4's down to BEAD and thought..."ok, this is cool" is a good example of an old man who hate's change.....this is the 4th 5stringer I have been thru, and FINALLY, FINALLY I found one I can play and sounds good. I posted the picture in MadMike's cabinet thread, but here is what I was playing thru to make the recording of ILL NINO: the cab is 2 4ohm speakers I hooked up in series mono for 8 ohms, and it is very bassy..... .
