| well let's see..what's up for Oct 2010? Got rid of my purple 3b this week and 2 aluminum rims for a honda, which HOPEFULLY will fund another 2 Charvels I'm bidding on. 1991 E5 1988 4B I now have altered my rack and this is what the fullstack looks like as of this month: ( I only use the top 1/2 ), the bottom rack is all spare stuff ) I finally last week got the black 7410 and installed it on the white lefty and put the ugly gold one away for now. so for the moment I only have 12 basses left out of a maximum of 21 in the past 3-6 months..people on TB are right "sometimes" ( why do I need 2 dozen non-rare everyday basses ) | |

| 4,600,000,000.00 better looking anyway --sounds the same and last night I won that red Charvel E5 from the first post, so I'll have that thing in a week I guess.. The cracklefinished one is now out of my hands because the money I spent on the red one was from me selling my purple unit, and I have not 300+ more for the crackle... when I put the black one on, I shimmed the neck because the saddles on the gold one were almost all the way down. Now that the saddles are up higher I can whack on the strings harder without rattle because the strings are actually angling down more past the rollers. and for Eric.....I didn't take off the 3rd spring this time, and left it alone since I really only use it for a bridge, but like the others, it still bends and pulls and goes back into tune on my "wonky" angled strings thru the nut. | |

| Nice Eliminator!! Still, bro, I'd love to hear you jam on that hot rodded 2B and show off the sounds of the pickups and the trem without a backing track. If it were a righty, that'd be exactly the guitar that I set out to get when I first ventured into Charvel territory. | |

| well I could always sell you that one and put a preamp in it as part of the total cost the crackle 4b is gonna sell today on ebay and I am predicting 375-385 for the final bid. ( I wonder how close I will come )????? I would have used the money for it, but the E5 is way more rare and was only 266.00 final total BECAUSE of it's un-popularity. | |

| Thanks! I'd love that!
Aside from the trem, I plan to kinda do that to my Charvel, using loud DiMarzios in a P/HB setup instead of an active system. Pity my 3B isn't white! I like white guitars.

| ok now how could I have passed up this gem for 62.00? I sold off both my Kramer Aerostars, and then was bumming, so I found this one for less than 100 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300475863546&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:ITmy friend is going to buy the body off of it like he did with my other spare Kramer body when I put that neck on my other red Charvel, because all I really want is the neck since I know the necks fit perfectly already from my first experiment. | |

| the first kramer neck with the black headstock is on my red 575, this red one will go on the red 1b because that neck is on my my black 2b now for the black and maple look.... the original neck off the black one needs fretwork so the red 1b will finally get taken out of the case and displayed | |

| ok so that crackle was bought by someone for over 350.00....good price and since I had 100 leftover, I bought another Kramer ZX70 for 62.00 since nobody was bidding, and I sold my other 2 ZX70's off when I needed some quick cash and since I know the Kramer necks fit perfect on the charvel pockets, it was a win-win if I decide to swap. so this week I bought 2 red guitars... and Martin, my blue 2b is on ebay maybe it will also sell before the auction is over in 3 days??? I'm doing what I said earlier this year from 21 basses I'll keep 8-12. one of each Charvel model, (4)- the 2 leftys (6)- the TBX/E5/C5. (9)- the Warrior (10)- the 575 with the Kramer neck -(11) .....the rest are getting sold. | |

| I'm guessing that I already know the answer to this, but since you mentioned Kramer Mike, ever entertain any fancy towards the old Kramer aluminum neck V's? | |

| sure, but for the horrible high prices people have set on those things, I'll never be able to own one.
If I had the cash and could find a lefty pitchfork lumie, ya I would consider it.

| Bummer! I used to own one of those, albeit in the right-handed form. Honestly, if I still had it, it would be yours Mike, as I never really got comfortable playing the thing. | |

| well my blue 2b didnt sell so i'll relist it, and I know it won't be this month, or this year, but I have to find a BLUE fusion 5string to complete the 90's pointy series: I have no idea who made the dual rails, or the roller bridge. . | |
