Going down to California again this week

Long story short. My stepmother recently passed away, and she had my father's ashes so she could be scattered with him (he passed away in 2002). Her daughter contacted me to let me know what was happening, and we made arraignments to do the scattering. So Linda and I are going down this Labor Day Weekend to get together with the families to scatter the ashes. I'll be gone from this Thursday until the following Tuesday. In addition to being able to lay my father to rest, I am also going to be getting some of his things that I haven't seen in over a decade. It will be a bittersweet experience, but I am looking forward to having some closure.
