| This doesn't fall under general sillyness so I thought I'd put it here, I found out today I have Glaucoma, even though my vision is perfect and I've had no symptoms. I was pretty shocked. So if you hadn't had a check up recently... get it done! It can take your sight with no warnings or symptoms, and is a hereditary eye disease.
I know no one here wants to be the Jeff Healey of the bass world so like I said, get your eyes checked at least every 2 years. | |

| Subject: another person in the DR's office this week? oh-wow Fri Apr 03, 2009 8:53 am | |
| WTF another person who had it bad this week? MAN, MB, I was also in the hospital from mid-day Sunday to Tuesday long story short, Friday my throat was killing me, I went in they took x-ray+mri, after thinking i swallowed a bone or fishscale and it got stuck in there, they found out that my upper portion of the tissue that holds the vocal chords to the back of your throat were extremely inflamed once they looked down there with the scope ( a nasty feeling as it passes thru your nose into your throat ), there was no infection, but severe inflammation. They put me on anti-biotics and ibuprofen to control the thing and FORTUNATELY this time, I did get lucky and there was no surgery involved. and GOD for the most expensive hotel in town, they don't even have moviechannels on the t.v.'s | |
