Well, I might be wrong Bill, but I honestly don't believe so. If you look closely at the picture, it appears to me that the bass was re-painted with a flat grey. There is no gloss to the color, and you can see inconsistant spots in the paint job.
Grey is a stock color for the Michael Anthony BB3000MA, but this is the only model that has this color option, and this bass is definitely not a BB3000MA.
The original BB300's only had two color options, which were black or red. I know this because I owned several Yamahas during the 80's, and the only color choices were black or red, and I owned both. They also had upgraded models that came in other colors such as natural wood tone, orange (a hideous orange, I might add), white, and burgandy.
Now the line consists of the BB414, the BB415, the BB614, and the BB615. Their color options now are black, red, orange, pewter, white, natural, or sunburst red.
