My red Charvel 3b is NO LONGER for sale

everyone here knows what it is, but for aesthetics

1987 Charvel 3b neckthru p/j oem jackson pickups oem jackson preamp.

typical played condition with very minor marks except for the ding on the back and some nibbling out of the point.
Everything works still cause before I took the pics I plugged it in.

Trying to get at LEAST 300 for it, and will come in one of those chainsaw cases, cause this case cost me 90 bucks and I'm Keepin it.

if the shipping wasn't so high to get it to you and back, I would send you one to try out for recording purposes

and a d-tuner..lol, people who are lazy and can't transpose frets tuned to DGCF

He could try out my 3B once I get done with the pickups and stuff if I go up his way some time...

And that bass is just a picture I found on google images under "chainsaw case". It's at the Bass Universe and it's a white 3B with an ugly chick airbrushed on the front.

If it were just white, that price would be worth it to me, but not with the graphic...no thanks.

Heh yeah. There's other stuff that needs my money, so it's kinda gotten the back seat. Gives me time to make sure that I know exactly what I want to do with it.

I did sell the red 3b today as someone did a BIN for 350. I figure it will cost about 35 to ship it to him, so I'm still over my 300 mark for it.

Mhmm. If you ever get rid of that white 4B, I will be pretty disappointed, I must admit. That's a really tight guitar. It would be perfect with a 1B neck on it...ooh drool on.

And you have the coolest pair of 3Bs--black cherry and lava crackle.

they didnt make enough 4b's to sell them off and next month see one on ebay to buy ( for example in blue ), so unless I get one first, naw it's staying. same as the Kramer/Jackson crackle finishes, just not enough of them out there to be plentiful, although the bass itself is common.

Sayonara, red 3B.

no regrets because my garden still has a few "red" flowers in it:)

this red 1b's OEM mapleboard neck

is on the black 2b to match my black 1b,

my lefty 2b now has it's neck back,

and the black one's OEM rosewood neck is now on the 1b. ---whew---
all this was in anticipation of the new bass coming shortly:


We have a show on Wed night, but the new ones won't get here in time, so I'll probably use the lefty. when I was putting things back together, I found out that the lefty p-pup is the only one of the 3-4 I was messing with this weekend that has a 10.4k wind, and not 8k. I may swap a 8k in there real quick and see if I can hear a difference....

Any chance you want to get rid of the P/J 2b

not right now as I must "stick" to my theme of a pair of each, but the CHS (fenderhead) and the Futura are always on the selling block.... If it weren't for the high shipping costs, they would be worth it for you... The new Concert5 will be matched with a Jackson 5string something someday.
