i noticed from these photos, the bad habit i picked up of looking down while i'm playing too much. believe it or not ... this is something i am now working on at practice (well, and playing too )

Nice costume. Hey, some people always look at the fretboard while they're playing. I guess it's up to however you play most comfortably.

Heck, I look at the board constantly. I don't see any problem with doing so.

Ya the only time it hurts you to look at the fretboard constantly is when you're singing while playing.

i dont know what shaun is looking at ... just over the high hat. i can never get his attention to make a change. out there man!

Where I'm looking while I'm playing depends on how comfortable I am with the instrument. On something like my Hamer or my Ibanez Roadster, I stare into space and my fingertips take over for my eyes most of the time. Then I can make eye contact with the drummer or just look like a slackjawed moron playing a bass. But if I'm fighting neck dive/high action, I can't hear myself, or if I'm not familiar with something that I'm playing, then I'm probably going to have my eyes glued to the fretboard.

Yeah its a bad habit, but everyone does it.

talk about looking??, I tend to STARE, and I mean stare into my LED lights on my rack if I don't watch what I'm doing..
