| Not that I'm an enormous fan of Hall & Oates, but I can absolutely assure you that T Bone was an incredible bassist. He played bass in the house band for the TV series Saturday Night Live before getting the Hall & Oates gig in 1981 where he served as bassist and musical director until his recent death. His knowledge of music, his tones, his vibe, all of it was top-notch. It's always a bummer when we lose one of the good ones. http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=485495>1=28102 | |
