no way is this bass supposed to be tuned to BADG ( drop-b), but I needed a breather from the regular songs, the E string tuned to B was still producing sound so I went for it...I found the mp3 floating around my computer.... I would have done BasketballJones, but the bassline sukks in it

Awww, Man! I tried to play it, but all I got was an error message saying "please try again later".
It's definitely a classic!

well maybe you will have to "try again later" then?..
sometimes when it does that i hit the non hq button and it will play, many times youtube is jammed and wont play peoples videos or will only play the non-hq link....

As always, great job, Mike!

if this F3 Kramer had the EXACT same neck as my Jacksons, I would own more Kramer pointies
it don't, but the Spector hazlab setup is very tonally different, and for now since it IS different, I'm using it at rehearsal tonight and for a couple more videos because "unlike" all my Charvels, this one is WAY different sounding.

I'll bet! How does the neck differ from the Charvels?
That Charvel neck shape is so perfect for me. That's how I know that bass is never going far from me. My Hamer is so drastically different from it, but it's become so natural to play that it's the other end of the spectrum for me. Ibanez's neck shapes fall right in between. They make up my triad of favorite neck shapes--skinny, Gibson-y, and Ibanez.
Speaking of which, if my plans go through, I might soon have another Ibanez with a gorgeous all maple neck. I'm psyched.

it is slightly wider to wrap my hand around...either it is the backside not as flat, or the overall width.
the hazLab pre is different as well as the spector pickups which suck the screwdrver onto them WAY stronger than the Jackson pups.
I'm gonna experiment when I have the time, and drop the spector pups in my black+maple 2b, and see what happens
if it makes the 2b sound AWESOMELY different, well...lolool
SPECTOR swap, here I come
