| I had mentioned this track to Martin, and I wanted to share it. This was a live radio broadcast from Memphis, TN back in 1982 of Ozzy Osbourne performing Believer. This show was about a month or so after Randy Rhoads died, so Brad Gillis (later to form Night Ranger) came in on guitar. Tommy Aldrige was on drums, and Don Airey was on keyboards. Rudy Sarzo was playing bass with Ozzy back then, and I have always loved his playing style, his stage presence, and his monstrous bass tone. The quailty of the recording is so-so, since it is a really old tape, but you can EQ it better. But Rudy's bass tone during the intro is wicked! | BD, I just tried the link, and it played for me. It might be because it's one of those rinky-dink free sites. One of these days I'm going to have my own site where I can just post any audio myself, so that you guys won't have to jump through hoops to listen to it!  | |
