Well, it isn`t fully operational yet. It started life as several guitar(not basses). Here`s an approximate parts list:
Body - Epiphone strat copy
Neck - Peavey Retrofire guitar
Pickguard, strap buttons, and neck plate/bolts - 80`s Lotus strat copy.
Neck Pup - Ducan Performer dual rail humucker(with coil tap, volume and tone)
Middle Pup - EMP P(with volume and tone)
Each pickup is in it`s own signal chain to it`s own jack. The "jack plate" is a piece of old pickguard from yet another strat copy a buddy of mine smashed on stage. I haven`t gotten the EMG working yet, but the humbucker sounds cool. The bass is 25.5" scale, currently strung up with some ernie ball stainless slinkies(cut down).
The trem is made from a couple of Asian strat trems, the screws are from a fender style bridge, the saddles are from a 5 string Musicman bridge. I drilled the block out and the strings go through it just like a strat. It has a nut soldered to the arm to hold it where I want it. The tuning stability isn`t terrible, but I need to get some bass tuners on it. It can dive pretty far on the short scale length
It has been a fun project several years in the making. I started with the lotus and eventually changed everything. If you have a hatchet and change the handle three times, and the head twice....
