| Hell, I'm a HUGE fan of Black Sabbath/ Heaven & Hell, and even I didn't know that Geezer had a trem once! We can thank our own Madmike for finding this image. Like I said, I had no idea Geezer ever played on a Kahler, but here is the proof that he did once! I think the Ironbird suits him well! | |

| Sold.
this thing came out pretty good ... was unplayable when i got it and was bummed when i discovered the body length was too short for a kahler ... the kahlered ones were factory with a slightly longer body to accommodate proper intonation with more real estate. i wish it came out better ... like, "omg this bass plays awesome! where have you been all my life?!?" but it was a salvage i paid too much for, fixed it, played it a few times and got sick of looking at its pointey self.
the carvin MM style and wiring was great ... will totally do that again on a better plank.
perhaps some day i will make a copy of the bird that will play top shelf ... with a trem. i think a more subdued color too like cadillac green or midnight wine. | |
