I've just seem a late 1980s Kramer Forum 1 for sale. A lovely neck through bass that's just waiting for a tremolo!!!!!

Iddid work. You just need to route a flat recess for the base of the trem to sit in; just like if you did a countersink. Its a neck thru so youde probably have no choice but to countersink it anyway to get the action right.

Im digging the color and the fb inlays.
