Hey everyone! My name is Dominic (echoSE7EN at Talk Bass, and now here). I've been playing music for close to 25 years now; many flavors and my tastes have changed many times. My first stringed instrument was an Ibanez EX guitar that I tore apart after a year of ownership; putting an EMG (I think it was an EMG-81...maybe 85? It's been a long time), and a Kahler tremolo (which at the time was like joining NASA).
In my "new life", I've been a bass player for quite some time, playing mainly fretless (5-ers) for the past few years. Recently, I've given thought to a Kahler for a build that is in the works, but I've been out of that game for a while -- so, after Google searching for info, I found BTF. I look forward to chatting with everyone, and picking the brains of the experts and more experienced folks than myself.
