| Yeah, they have done several videos in that "old film" style. I never asked bill about it. Wonder if he did them??? I think they are cool.
And theres a lot of live vidios of them playing this crappy place or that skuzzy bar. Probably been at some of them shows.

| Getting dicked around by people sucks. If I was being dicked around by a band I plain wouldn't bother with them. Trouble there means trouble later.... | |

| I dont think its being "dicked around" as you put it. Bill is one of the nicest guys ive met / worked with.
I think its more, he really likes his bass player and they have established how to work together. Everyone is busy and the time bass player has and bill has to work grows to be less and less. Eventually bill will have to make a decision or not have a band, same thing that happened to 40ws .... I just didnt have anyone lined up to fill in petes spot.
Im just letting bill know im available and learning the music so if he needs me ... BAM.
So many other auditions fall into this description of yours ... "dicking around". All the BS that I get fed. I would never audition someone like that. I mean ... Im trying to get them to want to come play in my band.
And yes ... I just walk away from that nonsence.

the bam part is all too true about just learning songs anyway for the **** of it. if you have any future thoughts about their band, knowing you can "walk in" and play is much easier to get into a band.
I left CodeWhiskey for their stupid soap opera dumb ****, AND the dumbass stupid singer booked yet another gig as he thought that Chris their bassplayer would do it and not do his DJ thing as a loyal member of the band? ( hahahah ya right - the DJ party is 600 bucks for him, so that's a no-brainer...lololololol ) They asked me and I said I would do it since I obviously know the songs and can just show up plus I'm gonna get 80-100 because it is a place that I've played many times and know it will be worth it so............... bam, I'm in the gig.
anyway.........if that happens to Mike and he gets a shot because he can just "walk in", hell you never know they might like your playing style or tone or some **** more than whats his name and that will be all it takes.
