pittsburgh plywood

Started stripping down that washburn b2.

Now, washburn is from chicago, but mike is always talking about cheap plywood basses. Ide never seen it or knew what I was looking at.

Well, I have now.

This b2 is from 1987, and im sure bass mass production has come a long way ... but this body is a royal POS.

Furreal, I don't think there's anything worth anything on this bass except for the electronic parts, the bridge and tuners and the heat from burning it as firewood.

Slap a coat of paint and finish on it and craigslist it for 100.

allright ... i got the crappy 1986 finish off this thing. that was much easier than the mex p bass. the paint stripper worked.

i'm thinking a dual directional paint for this bass. gotta contact the dood whos gonna do it and see what paint and finishes he's got. he is a manufacturer that supplies our company with baseball bats. he's just starting out but he's gotten some bats into the hands of some major league players. the bats are nice ... lets see what he can do with a bass.

time to start looking for components and hardware.
