Heavy Metal Legend Ronnie James Dio (born Ronald James Padavona) has sadly passed away this morning from his battle with stomach cancer. He was 67 years old. Without a doubt, my all-time favorite metal vocalist, and the man we have to thank for the infamous devil-horns hand sign that metalheads know so well. From Elf, to Rainbow, to Black Sabbath/Heaven and Hell, and his solo works, we have truly lost one of the greatest vocalists ever, and I am absolutely devastated by this news. R.I.P. Ronnie! You will be missed!

No no, it was a hoax. When the news was first released, it was a hoax (or misunderstanding or whatever). But now he is dead. His wife confirmed it.
