i just filed my taxes .....

i never ended up owing federal tax at the end of the year.

i gave my employer a boat load of crap about this ... nice job with your accounting there boss.

my butt hurts.

Ouch!

i might be able to afford to buy some gear, or i tunes, or strings, or food, by like july or august now.



................... and i still dont have health insurance.

I'm not going to say anything....nope....not about taxes and healthcare in this country....nope....too many people out there who don't seem to understand the trouble with the current system, and why it needs to change.

Nope. Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent.

i have the utmost respect for the leaders who are recognizing that there is something wrong with healthcare in this country ... and even more respect for those who are trying to "fix" or "change" the system.

maybe i'm just a pessimist or i lack faith in our elected democracy ... but i dont think the government can "fix" it. if i'm wrong ... i think ittl definately be worse before it gets better and definately more expensive than our nation (people like me and my company) can afford (and in turn ... whats wrong with the healthcare system; affordable for the privledged few). too much money, too much power, too much backscratching, too many campaign contributions, too many lawyers, too few people who need the help having the ability to be heard.

i love income tax returns too. i stink at saving money. its not as good as collecting interest in a savings account ... but its nice to get a few hundred bucks in the spring.

i sat down and adjusted how much is deducted from my salary so this wont happen to me again.

my boss gave me a raise last week ... it basicly coverers these increaced deductions.
