| since I used that silver Kramer's neck to make a partsbass, I really didn't need another plywood korean junk bass but it was like the silver one....too cheap to pass up. So here's a ZX70 in all white. This one is a different year as the headstock is way different. It is what it is, the pickup is more of a microphone than my sm58, and the zero fret is chipped in all 4 grooves..but you know what?, it plays fine after I set it up I'll throw my extra Jackson picup in there this weekend, since I wanted to try it out at practice to see how it sounds in the mix. | |

| i cant get over the angle of the strings from the nut to the heads.
some of my favorite basses have been $100 planks.

| well with the head shaped like that it's a wonder Kramer didn't put brass nuts in EVERYthing, since it was a given that the nut would chip.
even the other "newer" 80's Kramers I have that don't have that silly headstock on them is still the same with the string angles..chipped nut grooves.

| the higher end models had the brass...most of the cheapies got plastic which I guess would last for years anyway. I never had one new to see how long it lasts under my playing it before the huge break angle started chipping the nut grooves. when I change the strings and nut finally on this white one, I'll try it without the tree like I did to my other one but with the head so far down, I'm gonna bet it will have to stay. | |

As do all the USA Spectors (the Euros might too, but I'm pretty sure they don't)
