For sure, I was able to use the three ways hole for a pot, with some work, and the same to one of the pots holes with a switch. Now I have an on/off for each pickup, master volume, master tone, both volume and tone are push/push pots, the volume has a bypass mode, sends the Pitbull straight to the output jack, skipping all other pickups and controls, so say, I had the neck and middle on, at about 70% volume, I pop this, and I get nothing but bridge(Pitbull) at 100%, 110% even as I don't have the loads from the pots. The tone, is a coil cut, for the Pitbull, of course, the bridge coil is the one that stays active. They match up in looks perefectly, and equally well toanlly, suprisingly though, the Gibbys have more output(I've balanced them now).

Funny you should mention........ I installed the nickle nut today, needs some carving(to pretty it up), and a final polish, but man..... Might be my fave nut materal, an utter bitch to carve*kisses Dremmel* but the sound, its perfect, matches the fretted notes very well, and it looks great with all the chrome.

| although his custom is very nice and it will certainly be a one of a kind, I would never see myself creating a kelly body project such as that UNLESS it had THIS on it but the different hardware and 3 pups is really cool like this ultra rare 2002 KBX which had the original Duncan not EMG stuff in it AND if was trans green --ya baby congrats again on a one of a kind, which I'm sure all of us will hear a clip of the pup tone selections soon. | |
