How was everyones 4th of July? I got to perform, and it was the biggest crowd I've ever played for (a few hundred people I think). Then backstage, this hot girl who performed right before us decided I'd look really good with eyeliner (), so I let her put some on me. I thought I looked ridiculous. Then I went to a party at my neighbors, and we played poker. The only thing missing was fireworks (goddam drought!)

Awww, don't feel bad Kugelspot. I managed to begin the first decade of my playing career wearing eye liner! Actually, it sounds great! The perfect rock-and-roll story! It's what it's all about, Man!

So...did you get her number?

We had a decent and simple 4th. Linda had to work, so I just hung out at home. But since we live right on the edge of Birch Bay, and fireworks are legal here, our neighborhood looked and sounded like a war zone! The skies overhead were constantly lit up, and the booms and explosions were everywhere. Even the air was tinged with the smell of gunpowder.

I was going to light off fireworks with my boss and some friends, but he got swine flu...so that didn't happen. Instead I had a pretty insane evening with my best friend...a very metal evening. As metal as it can get in Kirkistan.
