Jens Ritter is a master bass luthier from Germany. He produces an exquisite line of high-end basses, and he offers his own bass trem design as an option. The sad thing is that he doesn't offer the trem by itself, but instead, you have to purchase one of his basses to get one. You can see his amazing basses and learn more about his incredible bass tremolo system at his website located at: www.ritter-basses.com

Great video!

Jens seems like a really nice guy. Some that you could just hang with.

That tremolo system is killer! Just the arm length alone must make for some really easy dives!

I wish he'd sell them, I really do, I'd slam 'em into basses, they gotta be incredible.

That thing is so green!  In an awesome way.  I bet it would look killer playing on stage with some blacklights Twisted Evil

I just noticed that bass has seven neck bolts.

Jens is one of my favorite builders. His finishes are ridiculous and beautiful. I had an email volley with him about this trem that resulted in, "no. I can't buy one." with Jens still being the super nice guy he is.

I remember talking about things we need to do to deal with tuning issues, intonation, ... kinda just like the kahler.

It does look like a very sound and functional concept. Ide love to play one. That price range is totally unrealistic for me to have my own.
