Anybody else watch this show (CB, if you don't, I'll be very disappointed in you )? One of my favorite shows EVER. So funny. I showed it to my cousin, my brother, and my neighbor, and I'm kinda surprised how much they liked it, because none of them are metalheads at all. In fact, my cousin likes rap, my neighbor likes emo, and my brother likes rap, emo and classic rock.

I, too, love this show. It's very cleverly written and I often find myself quoting lines in real life. The album put out by Brendan Smalls under the band's name is a great album too!

Oh yeah, man. Dethklok is the Spinal Tap for the kids of today. I love them. I think it's hilarious and dead on about so many things. When extreme forms of metal seem very misrepresented nowadays whenever they are put into a more common view, it's nice to see that they take a lot of what makes metal metal and make it something anybody can watch.
My favorite's Rockso. Or Toki. Hahahaha "back off, jackoff!"
I thought that the episode where they went back to Norway to meet Toki's father was pretty hilarious. Especially their take on Helvete...so true!
It sucks the new episodes are so short, though. Not enough time for them to develop the episode into the same type of bumbling, apocalyptic hilarity as in the first two seasons.

Oh come on, I can't think of any pure (not prog) death metal band with an audible bassline that didn't include alex webster or Steve Digorgio.
Plus, there's one episode where they mention turning the bass up on the next album because Murderfaces bass playing has gotten a lot better.

Aaah yeah I mean there's Immolation and Krisiun and Dying Fetus and stuff where the bass is pretty prominent. But I mean, listen to Hate Eternal's album I, Monarch (which is one of my favorites) and the bass literally might as well not exist. It'sso buried under huge, heavy guitars that there's no rrom whatsoever for some piddly bass. But on the next albem, Fury & Flames, Alex Webster played bass...so yep, you can hear it on that one.
Versus the ubiquitous
Damn...I mean listen to Powers That Be from King Of All Kings...holy **** their music is genius.
