No, that's not a typo. Van Halen very young, very raw, and very hungry for fame.
The first half is Van Halen during a lunchtime performance at their old place of learning Pasadena High School on 06/12/76. The quality is borderline, but everything can be clearly heard as this was taken from the soundboard. An equalizer will go a long way to improve the sound, but it is extremely listenable.
1. I'm The One
2. D.O.A.
3. Runnin' With The Devil
4. Ice Cream Man
5. In A Simple Rhyme
The second half is Van Halen performing at Hollywood's Starwood Club sometime in August of 1976. It would be in this very club that Gene Simmons of KISS would discover Van Halen, and finance their first studio demo sessions. The quality of these tracks are about the same as those of the first half.
6. Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love (actually during soundcheck)
7. On Fire (also during soundcheck)
8. ???? (I have no idea what this track is called, but Eddie does an incredible solo)
9. In For The Kill (cover tune from the band Budgie)
10. Take Your Whiskey Home
