My friend bought this last weekend...it matches his CS Bengal Jackson Randy Rhoads gutiar pretty well. I think it's hilarious, but awesome.

It actually plays really well. The D and G strings on the P pickup are really quiet. Might look into that later. Not sure if it's custom or not...but it's cool! Very Happy

Wild!

It looks like a cross between a Steinberger, and Gibson Grabber, and a Louisville Slugger! Laughing

Whoops! Must have copied that link from one of NoobOnRoad's posts! silent He was trying to get the photos to display on the page and not just show as lings with img tags around them, so that link musta still been in my clipboard.

Sorry about that!! Should look before you post.... Rolling Eyes I think you will find this a little...stripier?

haha to me it looks like a plain old warlock that someone re-did into a cool STRYPER design with the extra knobs and pups....maybe it STARTED out like this???

I'd say that's a good assessment, Mike. Shocked

That's possible, Amimbari...but I kinda doubt it. Next time I'm at his place, I'll take some more detailed photos of it. Certain elements (fingerboard shape after the last fret, the large, wavey tuners, the pickup placement, the way the knobs are laid out (I haven't opened up the control cavity yet), etc) that suggest that it's a middle-high end instrument. However, the neck finish, the very square neck pocket, the control plate cover (very rough-hewn--again, I haven't opened it up to see if it isn't original), etc suggest that it is very low end or a re-done cheapie. Not sure what to make of the neck plate, though. It has BC Rich's address, a PO Box in the US (if I remember correctly). Makes me think of the Jackson/Charvels with the San Dimas neck plate (a PO Box in San Dimas) that were actually made in Japan...
