That's possible, Amimbari...but I kinda doubt it. Next time I'm at his place, I'll take some more detailed photos of it. Certain elements (fingerboard shape after the last fret, the large, wavey tuners, the pickup placement, the way the knobs are laid out (I haven't opened up the control cavity yet), etc) that suggest that it's a middle-high end instrument. However, the neck finish, the very square neck pocket, the control plate cover (very rough-hewn--again, I haven't opened it up to see if it isn't original), etc suggest that it is very low end or a re-done cheapie. Not sure what to make of the neck plate, though. It has BC Rich's address, a PO Box in the US (if I remember correctly). Makes me think of the Jackson/Charvels with the San Dimas neck plate (a PO Box in San Dimas) that were actually made in Japan...
