VibroTek Double Whammy Empty
PostSubject: VibroTek Double Whammy   VibroTek Double Whammy EmptySat Mar 21, 2009 5:00 pm

An interesting concept, and I did own one once. The tremolo featured a split-plate design that was controlled with two arms. In this way, you could affect the pitch of either just the E & A strings, or just the D & G strings. The idea was that you could hit your E and let it ring out while doing some little tremolo/soloing along the G string. But the idea never really caught on, despite even having models for guitar, and the company folded within a year or two of introduction. Even though the company is long gone, I was able to find an early article about the company along with the link to their website at: http://www.barryrudolph.com/newtoys/toys/vibrotek.html
