On my RD I can get crazy high harmonics which are located on the inside of the 3rd & 4th frets mostly on the G string. My Rd is my only bass that can really nail them consistently or at all.


They sound like a little girl screaming through the Digitech Whammy up one octave on "Custer's Last Stand" at 1:33

I used the Les Paul for most of it except the whammy parts which were the RD

Who knows - I am tempted to get a Jackson/ Charvel. I always liked the look & concept of them (hot rod bass). You have shown they sound really good as well. A great bass for the price and a great platform to mod on .

like many will tell you, they ARE plain looking with no guard option and no cool chrome control covers, but that is one of the cool characteristics of them...and a CHEAP bass is something that you can mod to death, and never worry about resale value loss from cutting it all up
