You continue to amaze and impress me, Sly. You have such a strong sense of melody, and I really love the lines you groove on. I think that we could all learn a thing or two from you as a player. In fact, you epitomize what I have always said, in that bass trems are a useful and functional tool to add to the musical landscape. You don't over-do it, but rather, you do everything tastefully, and with true feeling. I really do love the way you play!

Like I've said before, the trem has really opened up a world of possibilities for me - so many ways that it can be used to expand the standard bass language. For me it was a way to get a fresh outlook on the instrument and I'm really having a ball with it...

Not on DVD, but on a couple of hard drives. It was a short set of three pieces opening for a Harp-guitar - vocal duo.
Are you asking because you're interested or because you're tired of seeing them?? ;-)

well unless they suck, which you probably did 20 years ago, but not any more I see why you play with the thumb, as I watch you hold the bar.
and no I asked about the DVD because this video may have been a small part of a larger performance.

It's pretty much a small part of a small performance...I'll probably get around to putting the other two videos together someday soon...
Let's see 20 years ago?? I was probably in better technical shape because I was practicing way more back then, but experience is priceless...;-)

would you mind to share the setup, what rigs/gears you been used for that song? is that a fender jaguar bass? could you post the pic of the bass?

Other than the Kahler, the bass is a stock Fender Jaguar with both pickups running passive in series. I'm running straight to the board throught an Eventide Pitchfactor with a Micro P chorus style effect. The reverb was coming from the FOH digital mixing board. I believe there are pictures of the bass on the 'Introduce yourself' thread titled 'New from up north'...
