your thumb playing technique is different. I'm glad you can do it as well as you can. I wonder what my wrist would feel like after playing that way for 15 minutes without doing it all the time?

Sly, you still continue to amaze me. You guys have such a groove and style that I really like a lot!

And your tremolo technique is really something! One of the most persistent questions I get is "what exactly can I do with a bass trem?", and you have clearly taken the device and adopted really well it into your playing style. Again, I applaud you for your playing ability! cheers

For me it was like all new techniques - at first it's akward and hurts the new muscles that are working - but after a while it gets comfortable and fun.

When I first installed the trem - in my mind it was to use it for vibrato. After playing with it for a couple of years I feel like I struck a well of creative possibilities by drilling into that bass ... Wink

at least you found a use for it beyond a nice heavy bridge. when I got my first one, I used it for wanking till I was sick of it, and never really explored the possibilities beyond a noise maker.

hell, now a days the bar's threads probably have a lot of dirt on it from sitting in the case and never being screwed in to the thing....
