Still learning how to use it,but so far with the onboard mics into two of the four tracks or direct line out to one track both sound great ... way better than those handhelds I've used before. Of course ... bass always sounds better thru speakers. The different input methods have low,mid and high input level presets as well as their own input gain pot with an overload clip light ... nice.
Comes with a 1G sd card. Comes with batteries but a power cable was extra. Metronome, tuner and other extras.
Running 1/8 out into a stereo for playback ... wont work for monitoring. I need a good set of headphones.
Trying to figure the best way to capture the band live at practice. I'm thinking a shure sm57 on the guitar cab and a hung phantom powered condenser mic to pick up the drums and bass. As I'm new to this stuff ... I'm open to any experience and suggestions.
For $150 including the cost of the cable, this was a deal. Again, way better than any handheld I've used that cost 1/3 more with less function.
I'll post more as I learn more.
