I can imagine this would become annoying when you have a numb arse by the end of a show.

our drummer uses a electronic shell drum conversion, and he always has a powered monitor next to him which he brings as part of his kit...he would laugh at something like that, but I'm gonna give him the link anyway. I don't know how he would feel about having his butt vibrating like that in a "typical" rock show..lol....

BUT, I had to do that at a show, I stood on top of my cabinet because I couldn't hear myself and also couldn't go thru the small PA Standing on the cab I could feel more so I didnt have to "hear" it as much at that point.

my last drummer had a hearing problem ... he crammed super low db earplugs in his ears. scared of loud noises i guess. these things were for running heavy machinery. of course ... he couldnt hear how loud he was playing either. lets just say, this was part of the reasons for the members parting ways. if he cant hear us and he's playing way too loud ... and making mistakes, but he's not willing to take the earplugs out ... see ya.

anyhow ... he was thinking about getting on of these to solve some problems. i guess ittl seem even more expensive to buy to use with the band he's not playing with.
