R.I.P. Peter Steele of Type O Negative

I just got word that Peter Steele, bassist and vocalist of Type O Negative, died April 14th of heart failure. I cannot even put into words how sad I am now. Type O Negative is definitely one of my favorite bands, and this news has me absolutely crushed. Rest in peace, Peter. Thank you for the music, Bro.

Ironic as I recently discovered the band. RIP

The really sad part of it is that he was only 48, and died of heart failure of all things. On top of that, we had heard that he had been clean and sober for a while. But he was a big guy, and maybe the strain on his heart was too much.
