there have been other opportunities to buy a blue one off ebay, but they were always 300-400, just a little too high to collect as just another "playtoy" for the collection. The CL ad was about 2 weeks old and I took a chance. The seller said he got NO calls or emails on it, so he was happy I found his ad, and bought it. He had a nice assortment of guitars and basses over his house, but the Guild B302 he has was VERY NICE, but he wouldn't part with it cause I told him I would also buy that one.
so I'll restring it, wash it up, and perhaps bring it to a gig or 2. I sold off a lot in the past couple months..my violin bass, my Stingray copy, the Futura, the CHS, AND I got 100 bucks for an old Telecaster humbucker some guy gave me at a flea market. At least the bill collectors won't be calling me this month ---hahaha
I have asked a bunch on TB to look for a lefty concert5 like my white one, and if someone finds me one, I'll sell/trade once again to get the cash for it. I told cetera (Gary) on TB who lives in the UK and has like a dozen Spectors, a wal a pedulla, 3 jacksons. who has wanted my Tbird for 3 years find me a lefty concert, and I'll swap him for my Tbird ) << that goes for anybody!!!
I don't think they made a lefty except probably for a prototype or NAMM demo cause they didn't offer it in the catalog, and I've never seen a picture of one, but they never offered a JPB bass in the catalog, and theres still a few of those floating around so who knows....
