I love thermite. I'll probably make some myself, once I'm out of the house and can order stuff off the internet without my parents asking too many questions

Hey! I have a question TK. How on Earth did your cousins get a hold of thermite? Isn't that stuff illegal or something? Or are the laws concerning such things more liberal in Australia then they are here?

it's a bit like ayahuesca. by themselves the plants are completely harmless, but together they form the most potent psychological drug known. thermite is just aluminium powder and iron oxide, it's a straight chemical reaction, not an explosion. but it takes a lot of temperature to start, about 400-500 degrees celcius. or about 752 degrees fahrenheit. We used a car battery, then we arced the electricity across the terminals and through the thermite. THe paint on the hindenberg was similar to the composition of thermite, which is why it lit on fire so extremely when it got struck by lightning. So if you wanted some thermite, just go to some chemical websites and you can pick up all you need easily. it's just a matter of mixing it

This, pretty much. It would be impossible (or very difficult) to outlaw it with any real success for 2 reasons: 1. There are numerous other, non fun, uses for the stuff 2. Like TK said, it's just aluminum and iron oxide. You can't outlaw those. And if you outlaw combining the two, then wouldn't that make it illegal for aluminum to touch iron oxide in general, not just powder?
BTW, the 2 components of Ayahuasca aren't completely harmless on their own. Ayahuasca is just a tea that combines a plant containing DMT with a plant containing a MAOI, and those are quite potent even when separate, especially DMT.
