Heading back down to Cali

It's been a month and a half too long since I was with my son Dylan, so I am heading back down on Thursday to spend some time with him. I'm going to do the trip in a straight shot, leaving here in WA at around 5 AM, and getting him in CA around 9 PM. 945 miles in one day. Yes....I can do this. I am a well-seasoned traveler of the highways, and it's actually not that hard to do.

So I'll be here tomorrow, then I'll be gone from early Thursday until late Monday.

Nah TK. It's really not that bad. I know it sounds daunting, but I've done this trip more times than I can recall, and I've logged literally thousands and thousands of miles in my lifetime, both as a passenger and as a driver, so I'm extremely used to pounding down the asphalt. Now, this doesn't mean that I come up smelling like a rose at the of the trip. Far from it, believe me! But to be able to see my son on a semi-regular basis is more than worth it. Besides my babydoll Linda is coming along as co-pilot, so we'll split the driving duties.
