| Uh, a small shim in the bridge end of the neck pocket would have tilted the neck angle, and let you lower the action enough, and still look stock. :/ | |

Yeah a friend of mine has a Charvel with an OFR that was installed instead of the Strat-style trem that was stock. The person who did the mod used a piece of pickguard material in between the neck bolts and the heel of the neck pocket and it tilts the neck back so that it can get really low action. I also scalloped out some of the upper frets. Fun guitar.  | |

| I really like having the neck tilt back a tiny bit. The neck on my Hamer is set back at an angle like that and it's my favorite instrument to play. Plus the neck feels so thin and Gibson-y.  | |
