Oh! Mike! I've played a 2x10 combo version of that amp. They are incredible--exactly what gives Carvin their good name.

I've never been to Bass NW. I've heard a lot about it, though.

They have an Ampeg 8x10 for $700...that's not too bad. Looks like they have something there for all of us!

I haven't yet. We live two hours north of Seattle, and we don't get to spend nearly as much time there as we would like to.

Hmmmm... I doesn't look like they have the Combustion, only the Afterburner, which is way out of my budget range, if I ever decide to get one. At least I get to try the fanned frets

Huh...those are such cool basses, but they're just so different. I don't know if I could ever bring myself to buy one. It would just look weird on me.

i spoke to bass nw today. they seem like a nice company to do business with; although i'm from the suburbs of philadelphia and everyone is nasty to everybody ... fun. most people from elsewhere in the country seem nice compared to us.

i'm gonna go with the carvin r600 ... how can i not at that price. even tho you cant "get there" you can always call them, discuss what they have, purchase it on a card and they'll ship it to you.

yes ... i did make the choice, i want this amp ... but i'm not buying this one now.

my alternator just went in my car on the way home from work.

when i got home from work i had to write a chek for a $500 deductible for work being done to the house to pass inspection.

i'm broke.

right now just isnt the time ... i gotta keep my peavey limping along for a while longer.

Eric missed out on a ebay BB earlier this year, and it was definitely "for the right price". I would have bought it and held onto it for him, but I didn't have the money at that moment in time...GOOD LUCK Eric in getting that YAMY bass you wanted for a while now if the one from BNW is a good price, and you want to take a road trip ....

Oh yeah, I remember that. I would do the same if I ever have the money, but I just lost my job the other week...
