I know...my mom knows how much I admire him and she sent me a link to an article about his passing as soon as she found out. We're fortunate that he lived long and well enough that he could continue to share his gift with the world into this century.

And damn. He just played the most beautiful instruments...so beautifully.

exelent innovative guitarist.

the gibson les paul is the best sounding, most playable mass produced guitar i've ever picked up.
