|  @ 14 years old ... i put my chin thru the top of my skull with a skateboard. this is giving me PTSD! thoughts of bart simpson trying to jump springfield gorge come to mind ... then the thoughts of homer not making it X2.  doh! so, i could go out and purchase this nonsence ... but i cant find ibanez parts.  i spent quite a bit of time talking shop with mike browne last night. i continue to learn about bass construction. this learning process needs to involve people like you guys and mike browne ... mike was good friends with carl thompson and look what carl taught him to build. cant find what i want ... learn to build it! i hope that i could be such an accomplished luthier someday. point is ... from the useful to the downright rediculous ... you guys have been keeping my brain going ... thanx! | |

| I don't know. I think that it's probably got a thick center section to house the electronics and bridge and handle the string tension and something substantial to mount the neck onto and then it has thin, skateboard-like wings. That's one way ofdoing it, I suppose. That way it works and it gives the illusion of skateboariness. | |
