Status Bendwell System

Apparently, the string retainers on status basses are about 2 inches away from the nut, and they make it so you can bend notes. I don't know much about it TBH, just something I came across on accident

Pretty much, for behind the nut bends, they designed it for Mark King.

King used to do those bends on standard basses, and missed them on headles ones, so, Status said, screw it, we'll make a headless that you can do 'em on. Laughing
